Resume - Education and Training
Education is an important factor in your career moves and it obviously has a place in the job resume. It is best to summarize your educational background in a simple manner following a reverse chronological order. Start with your highest degree or diploma, your major, the name of the college/university, city, province, country (if applicable) and date. When listing the university or college name, follow the same styling as with company name in the professional experience and accomplishments.Partial degrees should also be listed on the resume. Professional development, certifications and training can also have a place on the resume if they relate to potential career objectives. Any non-academic achivements can be listed in a seperate section or in a personal section.
The education section of the resume is more important for recent and new graduates than seasoned professionals. If you are a recent university or college grad, it would be a good idea to include a sentence of two highligthing the courses taken and how they would be relevant to a potential job.
